Third-Party Application Risk

YMusic is a third-party application that accesses YouTube’s content through methods not officially licensed by YouTube for background playback or offline downloading outside of YouTube Premium. Installing and using YMusic means installing software from outside the Google Play Store (sideloading), which carries inherent risks distinct from Play Store installations.

We scan every APK we distribute through VirusTotal and publish the SHA256 hash and scan result for verification. This scanning reduces but does not eliminate risk. No third-party scanning service can guarantee 100% detection of all possible threats, and YMusic’s continued function depends on YouTube’s API remaining accessible in the way YMusic uses it — a condition that can change without notice.

Service Availability and API Dependency

YMusic’s functionality depends on YouTube’s public API. YouTube periodically changes its API tokens and access methods, which can cause YMusic to stop working (commonly seen as “Error 403”) until k.dev releases a compatible update. We do not control YouTube’s API, k.dev’s update schedule, or the timing of any fix. We are not responsible for periods during which YMusic does not function due to YouTube-side changes.

Content, downloads, and guides on ymusic.click are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that YMusic will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device.
