This Privacy Policy explains what data ymusic.click (the website) collects when you visit, and clarifies that it does not cover data collected by the YMusic app itself, which is controlled by its developer, k.dev.

Scope of This Policy

This policy covers data practices on the ymusic.click website only: page visits, downloads initiated from this site, and any contact form or email submissions. It does NOT cover:

  • Data collected by the YMusic app after installation (governed by k.dev’s own practices, not ours)
  • Data collected by YouTube or Google when YMusic streams content from YouTube’s API
  • Data collected by third-party archive sites (Uptodown, APKPure, Softonic) if you download from those external sources

If you have privacy questions about the YMusic app’s in-app behavior specifically, those questions fall outside what ymusic.click can answer, since we do not operate the app’s backend.

What We Collect on This Website

Standard web analytics: IP address (used only for approximate geographic region and abuse prevention, not stored long-term in identifiable form), browser type, device type, pages visited, time on page, and referral source. This is standard practice for any website and is collected through analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, if enabled).

Download events: When you click a download button, we may log that a download occurred (for tracking which builds are most downloaded) without linking that event to your personal identity.

Contact form / email submissions: If you email us or use a contact form, we collect the information you provide (name, email address, message content) solely to respond to your inquiry.

Cookies: This site uses cookies for basic functionality (remembering your language preference, for example), for analytics, and for serving advertisements (see the Advertising section below). You can disable cookies in your browser settings; this may affect some site features and ad personalization.

What We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect your YouTube account credentials, your YouTube watch history, or any data generated inside the YMusic app after you install it. YMusic operates independently of this website once downloaded — any account sign-in you perform inside the app (for playlist import, for example) is a transaction between you, YMusic, and Google, not something ymusic.click has access to.

How We Use Collected Data

  • To understand which pages and guides are most useful, so we can improve content
  • To detect and prevent abuse (automated scraping, malicious traffic)
  • To respond to contact inquiries
  • To measure which APK builds are downloaded most, for maintaining accurate version information

We do not sell visitor data to third parties. We do not share contact form submissions with anyone outside the team that operates ymusic.click, except where required by law.

Third-Party Services

This site may use third-party analytics (such as Google Analytics) and may link out to VirusTotal for scan verification and to third-party archive sites for older versions. These third parties have their own privacy policies governing data they collect when you interact with their services directly. We encourage you to review those policies separately.

Advertising — Google AdSense

ymusic.click uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to ymusic.click and/or other sites on the Internet.

Specifically:

  • We and our third-party vendors, including Google, use first-party cookies (such as Google Analytics cookies) and third-party cookies (such as the Google AdSense cookie) together to inform, optimize, and serve ads based on someone’s past visits to ymusic.click.

What ad cookies do not access: Advertising cookies served on this site do not have access to your YMusic app data, your YouTube account, or any file you download from ymusic.click. Ad personalization is based on general browsing behavior, not on the content of files you download.

We do not control the ads displayed by Google AdSense and are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or the practices of advertisers themselves. If you encounter an ad you believe is inappropriate or misleading, you can report it directly to Google or contact us at legal@ymusic.click.

Data Retention

Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings of the analytics tool in use (commonly 14–26 months for standard web analytics configurations). Contact form submissions are retained only as long as needed to resolve your inquiry, after which they are deleted or archived securely.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including under Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act), you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold about you, such as a contact form submission. To exercise these rights, email legal@ymusic.click.

Children’s Privacy

ymusic.click is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
